When you know your planter is ready for the 2027 season, you can breathe a little easier. The best time to find out what it needs is now, well before the planting window opens and every shop is busy.
Parallel Ag is offering a Kinze planter inspection at our Emmetsburg, Fort Dodge, and Marshall locations. Spots are limited, and the offer ends January 31, 2027.
What it Cost
$246 for the inspection, plus $30.75 per row. For example, a 16-row planter comes to $738 and a 12-row planter comes to $615.
What’s Included
- 100-point inspection of your planter.
- All corn meters run on the test stand. That’s a $500+ value at no extra charge.
- 10% discount on parts and service performed.
- No repairs without your approval. We don’t complete any work until you say so.
- Parts Pre-pay Programs. Ask us how to lock in parts ahead of the season.
What Our Technicians Look At
A planter is only as good as its row units. During the inspection, our team checks the parts that most often affect depth, spacing, and consistency:
- Parallel linkage arms for wear or damage.
- Seed tubes and guards. Worn parts here can cause uneven depth and spacing.
- Closing wheels, to make sure they work consistently.
- Depth control wheels.
- Disc opener blades, replaced if they are worn, cracked, or warped.
