About Parallel Ag
Parallel Ag officially began in January 2023 with the merger of two leading agricultural dealers in the Midwest, Ag Solutions Group, and the Southern Plains, Livingston Machinery Company. This marked the beginning of our expansion. During the summer of 2024, the respected A.C. McCartney of the upper Midwest joined the Parallel Ag family, further strengthening our presence in the industry.

If you’ve been in our Liberal store, chances are you’ve already met Charles. He’s the guy behind the parts counter who’s always ready to help and probably already looking up what you need before you finish explaining it.
Charles was born and raised in Liberal. He went to school in …Hooker, OK and earned his Automotive Business certificate from Southwest Kansas Technical School. After that, he spent more than 15 years working in parts at places like O’Reilly, AutoZone, Freightliner, Truck Center Companies, Foss Ford and more. If it had parts on it, there’s a good chance Charles has worked on that side of the counter.
After years in the heavy truck world, he was ready for something new. When the opportunity came to join what was then Livingston Machinery, now Parallel Ag, he took it.
Some of his favorite memories are from the early days of getting the Liberal location set up. He worked alongside Tim Walden to build the parts department from the ground up and become the go to crew for swathers and balers. He’s also put in the time at AGCO AMT training to keep learning the ag side of the business.
His goal is simple. Make the Liberal store successful and take care of the farmers and ranchers who depend on us. Around here, that matters.
Outside of work, Charles keeps it simple. He and his wife Jessica have been married 17 years this October and have two boys, Johnathan and Ryan. When he’s not at the store, he’s usually spending time with family or playing a little Farm Sim 25.
