🍀 St. Patricks Day – Emmetsburg, IA style 🍀

Colin Hoppe (Emmetsburg GM) and his son, Carson, along with Kyle Christensen and his daughter, Kadence, showed up with a Brehmer trailer and Kinze planter. We were proud to roll through the parade with some equipment this year and be part of a tradition that’s been going strong for 66 years.

Hope your day’s been lucky and your fields stay green!

Celebrating 20 years of dedication! Stefanie has been a vital part of our journey from a single-store dealership to the company we are today. From H/R and various accounting positions, to her role today as Corporate Controller, her leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on our entire organization. Thank you, Stefanie, for two decades of excellence!

When the season picks up, we know the work doesn’t stop and neither do we.

Big news for our Iowa growers. Kinze equipment is now available at our Fort Dodge and Emmetsburg locations. That means Kinze planters, grain carts, and Mach Till bars are now right here locally with the support of your Parallel Ag team.

If you’ve been running Kinze for years or have been thinking about making the switch, you can now stop in, talk with our team, and see the lineup closer to home.

Same dependable Kinze equipment. Local parts, sales, and service you can count on.

Stop by Parallel Ag in Fort Dodge or Emmetsburg and let’s talk equipment.

Commodity Classic 2026 is in the books.

A few of us from the Parallel Ag team made the trip down to San Antonio to see what’s coming next in agriculture. Between the education sessions, time in the AGCO booth, and conversations with farmers and manufacturers, there was plenty to take in.

Scott Small spent time looking at new precision technology like Arrow from Precision Planting and digging into the latest updates coming from AGCO and PtX.

Our CEO, Shawn Skaggs, attended alongside the AGCO Dealer Panel where dealers had the chance to sit down with AGCO leadership and talk through real ways we can keep improving the customer experience and bring better solutions back to the farm.

We also invited Dan Sell (@FarmerDan97) to join us for the Fendt VIP event during the show. Even though Dan doesn’t currently run Fendt equipment, he said he felt welcomed and appreciated how willing the team was to answer questions and talk through the technology.

Farm shows like Commodity Classic are about more than just machinery. They’re a chance to learn, connect, and bring new ideas back home.

We put together a full recap of the trip on our blog.

We were glad to host the @oklahomaffa Federation team at our Chickasha, OK location as part of their Business and Industry Tour.

Our team had the chance to show the State FFA Officers a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes at a dealership. From parts and service to the equipment that keeps farmers running, they got a look at the day to day work that supports agriculture across the region.

A big thank you to the Oklahoma FFA Foundation and the State Officers for stopping by. We appreciate the opportunity to share what we do and we’re proud to support the next generation of leaders in agriculture. 🌾

Inspiring the next generation of strong women — including our own!

Our marketing coordinator, Amber Stanik, represented Parallel Ag at the Blanchard High School Career Fair where her daughter Lillie is a student! Joining her were HR team members Courtney Lively and Sheri Stanton who helped students explore careers in agriculture.

Happy International Women's Day to all the women leading the way!

There’s nothing better than hearing this from a customer — he picked up a used Massey Ferguson 4710 and left happy.

“You all have got a new customer. When I walk in the door you all are nice and act like you want to do business. I’ve done business for years at different dealer, but I’ll be making the drive down here from now on.”

That doesn’t happen by accident. This is our parts team, our front office, and the handshake when someone walks through the door. In this business, iron matters. But how you treat people matters more.

If you’re thinking about making the switch, we’d be glad to earn your business too.

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day, and while we’re spotlighting Greg Marshall, we also want to say thank you to every single employee across our 16 locations.

Greg serves as Parts Manager in Emmetsburg, IA, and brings 11 years of production experience from Den Hartog Industries. He knows ACE products inside and out. There’s a pretty good chance he helped build some of the equipment we’re selling today.

He grew up in Sheldon, IA and now lives in Spencer with his wife Lexi and their two daughters, Eden (5) and Emma (1). Family time is a big deal in the Marshall house.

Greg says his favorite part about working at Parallel Ag is the people. He enjoys helping customers every day and working alongside coworkers he considers friends. The job gets done, but there’s always room for a few laughs.

One of his favorite memories so far was the Emmetsburg open house. Seeing that kind of turnout in a small town reminds you just how much these stores mean to their communities.

When he’s not at work, you’ll find him on the boat at Lake Okoboji or catching a football or basketball game with his family.

Today we celebrate Greg and every parts rep, tech, salesperson, truck driver, office staff member, and manager who keeps Parallel Ag running. We appreciate the long hours, the teamwork, and the way you show up for our customers every single day.

We couldn’t do this without you.
