DALHART, TEXAS, (August 24, 2021) – Livingston Machinery Company, a leading agricultural equipment dealership in Oklahoma and Texas, officially broke ground on its new facility in Dalhart, TX. After a much anticipated wait by the company who began serving the area in 2014, the future of Livingston Machinery in Hartley County is in motion.

These are the people that are making this possible”. said Shawn Skaggs, President/CEO of Livingston Machinery Company on the day of the groundbreaking.
On Tuesday, August 24, 2021 a host of people gathered for the official groundbreaking of the new Livingston Machinery Company store on Highway 87. The group gathered included all of Livingston’s administrators and general managers, corporate AGCO representatives, Dalhart employees and the Dalhart Chamber of Commerce. Three of Livingston’s premiere Fendt tractors also made an appearance at the groundbreaking and served as the backdrop for the entire event.
Livingston Machinery Company has served Dalhart and surrounding communities as one of the premiere providers of AGCO agricultural products and service in the panhandle of Texas. This being the case so much so, that the original Livingston Machinery location has been outgrown. This prompted the leaders of LMC to take action and formulate a plan of expansion.
These plans came to fruition with the purchasing of the future home of the new building on highway 87, just south of Dalhart. After months of planning and fine tuning the facility blueprints, the plans were complete, ready to be put into action and to celebrate with the community. The facility is expected to be complete in Fall of 2022.
