Jake Cowherd is part of our Montgomery City team, bringing a unique, hands-on background to his role as a Sales Professional. Before joining Parallel Ag, Jake worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation, then as an aquatic biologist for a private lake management company, and later as a commercial applicator.
Originally from Higginsville, Missouri, Jake attended Missouri State University in Springfield and now lives near Middletown, MO.
Jake was drawn to Parallel Ag after spending time operating application equipment, including an Apache sprayer and Rogator spreader truck. He saw an opportunity to connect with customers on a different level, bringing real-world experience to the conversation instead of just selling from a brochure.
One of Jake’s favorite memories is from the first fall as an AGCO dealer, when an IDEAL combine came to town for the first time and drew a crowd of people stopping by to check it out. Looking ahead, he’s excited to continue growing AGCO’s presence in the area and helping establish the Montgomery City location within the local ag community.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys breeding, raising, running, and field trialing foxhounds, along with restoring old Chevys and attending car shows.
