It’s one thing to see a combine in a brochure or at a farm show. It’s a whole different thing to watch it work through a tough harvest on ground you recognize, run by someone who talks like you do and farms like you, too. That’s what the Fendt IDEAL Harvest Tour is all about.
We’ve Seen What This Tour Does Firsthand
FENDT IDEAL HARVEST TOUR 2025
–J&J Farms | Galesburg, IL

Last year, Parallel Ag’s own customer Chad Johnson of J&J Farms out of Galesburg, IL, a fifth-generation farmer, got the call. It was Chad’s first time running the IDEAL, and the corn was dry and tough in spots across Illinois. His question going in? “How fast can we run, and not blow it out the back?”
By the end of the day, the joystick control, the six-bushel-per-second unload speed, and the grain sample had all turned his head. But the real test was loss out the back… and the IDEAL passed. Chad’s verdict: “We could’ve run faster.” Not bad for a first run.
That’s a local farm family, on ground right down the road, putting a machine through its paces for the first time… and walking away impressed. It doesn’t get more real than that. That’s exactly what the Fendt IDEAL Harvest Tour is designed to capture.
So How Do You Get Signed Up?
Here’s where things are a little different this year. Instead of dealers doing all the nominating behind the scenes, Fendt has opened it up so anyone can enter. That means you can throw your own hat into the ring!

The process is simple:
- Scan the QR Code by sending your name, address, and a few details on the crops you grow to FendtIDEAL@agcocorp.com.
- Fill out the entry form. Easy. No essays, no hoops to jump — just basic info about your operation.
- Submit before May 30th.
That’s it! You don’t have to own a Fendt to enter, just be willing to let the Fendt harvest team onto their operation and help showcase the long days, unpredictable weather, and quiet determination that define harvest!
Why Should You Care?
Honestly? Because it’s a cool experience for a farm family that deserves some recognition. Harvest is long, hard, and doesn’t come with a lot of fanfare. The Fendt IDEAL Harvest Tour puts a spotlight on that work, and on the people doing it. If that sounds like you or someone you know, don’t let May 30th pass you by!
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that you’d be running one of the best combines on the market while cameras are rolling!
