Yes, after successfully signing up/merging to an AGCO ID, the wireless transfer of agronomic data (work orders/tasks, field elements, prescription maps, guidance lines) is possible between applications and in-field devices. Future improvements include displaying AGCO equipment telemetry (e.g. position, fuel level …) in PTx FarmENGAGE.
Yes, after successfully signing up/merging to an AGCO ID, the wireless transfer of agronomic data (work orders/tasks, field elements, prescription maps, guidance lines) is possible between PTx FarmENGAGE and all supported 3rd party and OEM software applications. Competitor machines can also utilize a retrofit PTx Trimble display to integrate the mixed fleet into the digital ecosystem.
PTx FarmENGAGE will provide a full featured machine and agronomic tasks data application that can be used to support the mixed fleet. PTx FarmENGAGE will provide an improved user experience for better ease of use, interoperability in the mixed fleet and all the capabilities to increase on-farm efficiency and execution.
Your equipment first needs to be connected to PTx FarmENGAGE. For AGCO machines you can initialize the connection via AGCO Connectivity Center, which is available either in FendtONE offboard or in PTx FarmENGAGE. For PTx Trimble displays you can utilize the connection via PTx FarmENGAGE. For other OEM displays you can utilize the OEM API connections within PTx FarmENGAGE or manually upload any OEM formatted data directly into the PTx FarmENGAGE.
You need an AGCO ID. In the beginning it is neccessary to manually transfer the data by doing a “master data exchange” or by sending individual resources like field boundaries or guidance lines to one of the other platforms or directly to a tractor/display.
