Description

The Sunflower 9312 is an end-wheel pasture drill built for reseeding pastures damaged by drought or overgrazing, as well as seeding along highways and utility rights-of-way. It shares the heavy frame and build standards of Sunflower’s larger grain drill line, giving smaller operations a compact option for conventional and no-till seeding. The end-wheel design puts the drive wheel in front of the openers, and the all-purpose opener handles a wide range of seeding conditions. Seed rates are set with a simple screw-type adjustment, and nylon seed cups with six internal flutes meter many seed types gently. Maintenance-free sprockets, chain, and spring-loaded drive wheels keep constant soil contact, while a clear plastic sight glass on each seed box lets operators check seed level from the tractor seat. A transport safety light kit and SMV emblem come standard, along with non-skid walk boards and heavy-duty ladders for safe access.
