Blaine Alexander Memorial Scholarship

The Blaine Alexander Memorial Scholarship honors a young man whose workplace accident cut his life tragically short. Hard-working, kind, and deeply respected, Blaine led by example and brought light to everyone around him. His family created this scholarship to carry that kindness forward—recognizing a deserving high school student who reflects the values Blaine lived every day. Friends, family, and Parallel Ag employees who loved Blaine made this scholarship possible, uniting to keep his name and legacy alive in the community he called home.

Each year, Parallel Ag awards selected recipients a $1,000 scholarship in two payments of $500. Recipients receive the first $500 upon enrolling in the Fall semester and the second $500 upon continuing into the Spring semester.

Applications are open to high school seniors who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Residents of the following Oklahoma counties: Grady, Stephens, Cotton, Jefferson, Comanche, Washita, Kiowa, Caddo, Tillman, Jackson, or Garvin
  • Current Parallel Ag employee family members

Parallel Ag reserves one scholarship for a Sterling High School student, honoring Blaine’s time there. Judges select the second recipient from the remaining eligible applicants. If Sterling High School receives no applications, Parallel Ag will award both scholarships from the eligible pool.
