Because larger models use a flexible frame, they rake clean and uniform even across uneven ground. In addition, rake wheels use larger dimension tines and a heavier center hub than standard rakes. The arms positioning each wheel pivot on tapered roller bearings for smooth, adjustable end play. Raking beams unfold over the top of the wheels, so there’s no need for telescoping or side mechanisms.
A Rowse V-Rake comes in 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 wheel models to match different operations. The patented Compression Spring Assembly keeps weight consistent per wheel, so raking stays even and components last longer. Because front tires sit set inward, they stay protected from obstructions in the field. Grease fittings make routine lubrication quick and simple. Operators can rake from 50 percent of maximum width up to full width for research-proven optimum operating rates.
