Description

Break up compaction layers with the Great Plains Sub-Soiler, a true vertical tillage implement. This inline sub-soiler reaches depths up to 16 inches to reset your soil profile. Spring-loaded 20-inch coulters clear residue ahead of chrome-alloy shanks and points. Choose the VT1500 or VT1510 and pick auto-reset or shear-bolt shank protection.

Shank & Point Options

Choice of Auto-Reset or Shear Bolt Shank Mounts
Auto-Reset Shanks trip at 3,000 pounds to keep working through buried rock and debris. Shear Bolt Mounts protect shanks at a lower cost than the Auto-Reset option. An optional 2,000-lb. trip pack shank cuts shear-bolt breakage in rocky fields.

Choose Your Shank Style
Pick a 1 1/4-inch straight-leg shank or a 3/4-inch no-till shank to match your ground. The no-till shank disturbs less soil and covers less residue than the straight-leg shank.

Choose Your Point Style
Straight-leg shanks run 2-inch or 7-inch points, with or without fins to control blowout. Notill shanks use a 10-inch point that limits surface disturbance and residue burial. A 4-inch no-till point suits 24-inch spacing and works at shallower depths with less horsepower.
