Simonsen KB Fertilizer or Lime spreader

Description

The Simonsen KB fertilizer or lime spreader delivers tight control of material flow from 100 to 1,800 pounds per acre, with impressive accuracy and a flat spread pattern edge to edge. A solid, all-welded 3-inch I-beam frame with 45-degree sloped sides and stainless steel at corrosion-critical points is built as a rugged body ready for many years of field use. Twin fans paired with a 21-inch conveyor apron spread fertilizer up to 50 feet wide or lime up to 30 feet wide, powered by a heavy-duty hydraulic system that holds constant fan RPM regardless of ground speed. The conveyor stays synchronized to ground speed independent of the truck transmission, with a choice of press-wheel drive or electronic control, plus variable rate and GPS compatibility for modern application programs. Available in stainless steel or mild steel and in multiple body sizes to match your chassis, the KB is backed by Parallel Ag’s parts and service team with genuine Simonsen parts.

Features

Built for Years of Field Use

Rugged Body, Long Service Life
The KB is built as a rugged body ready for many years of field use, holding up to the abrasive demands of dry fertilizer and lime.

Tight Control of Material Flow
Precise control over material flow from 100 to 1,800 pounds per acre delivers impressive accuracy and a flat spread pattern.

Fertilizer or Lime, One Spreader
Spread fertilizer up to 50 feet wide or lime up to 30 feet wide from the same body, matching width to the material you’re applying.

Multiple Body Sizes Available
Choose from multiple body sizes to match the spreader to the chassis you already run.

Frame & Construction

Solid All-Welded 3-Inch I-Beam Frame
A solid, all-welded 3-inch I-beam frame provides the structural backbone for a body that’s built to last.

Stainless Steel at Corrosion-Critical Points
Stainless steel components are placed exactly where corrosive fertilizer and lime do the most damage, extending the life of the body.

Stainless or Mild Steel Models
Choose a full stainless steel body for maximum corrosion resistance, or a mild steel model to match your budget and application.

45-Degree Sloped Sides
Steeply sloped 45-degree sides keep material moving toward the conveyor instead of hanging up in the corners.

Twin Fan Spreading System

Twin Fans, 21-Inch Conveyor Apron
A twin-fan system paired with a 21-inch-wide conveyor apron delivers a wide, even spread pattern across the full working width.

Constant Fan RPM, Any Ground Speed
A heavy-duty hydraulic system keeps both fans spinning at a constant RPM no matter how fast you’re driving.

Up to 50-Foot Fertilizer Spread Width
Cover more ground per pass with a fertilizer spread width of up to 50 feet.

Up to 30-Foot Lime Spread Width
Switch to lime and get an even, consistent spread pattern out to 30 feet.

Conveyor & Drive Control

Conveyor Synced to Ground Speed
The conveyor is synchronized to ground speed independent of the truck transmission, keeping application rate consistent as speed changes.

Press-Wheel Drive or Electronic Control
Choose mechanical press-wheel drive for simplicity, or electronic control for finer rate adjustment from the cab.

Consistent Application at Any Speed
Ground-speed synchronization means slowing down or speeding up in the field doesn’t throw off your application rate.

Simple Operation, Reliable Results
Straightforward controls keep the KB easy to run for any operator, season after season.

Application Accuracy

100 to 1,800 Lbs. Per Acre Range
A wide application range from 100 to 1,800 pounds per acre covers everything from light maintenance rates to heavy applications.

Flat, Even Spread Pattern
Tight control of material flow delivers a flat spread pattern edge to edge, reducing streaking and uneven coverage.

Impressive Accuracy Across Materials
Whether you’re running fertilizer or lime, the KB holds accuracy across a range of material densities and conditions.

Built to Reduce Overlap & Waste
Consistent, accurate spreading reduces overlap and product waste, saving you money on every load.

Technology & Precision Ag

Variable Rate Compatible
Variable rate compatibility lets you apply exactly what each part of the field needs, based on your prescription maps.

GPS Compatible
Built-in GPS compatibility keeps the KB working with the guidance and mapping tools you already run.

Electronic Control Option
Step up to electronic control for tighter rate management and easier calibration from the cab.

Ready for Modern Application Programs
Precision ag compatibility keeps the KB ready for variable-rate fertility and lime programs as your operation adopts them.
