Description
The Manitou Silage Facing Bucket loads and aerates silage in one pass, saving time on daily feeding chores. A hydraulic motor built into the rotor stays protected and lasts longer. Synchronized hydraulic movements keep everything smooth while it works. The rotor spins backward, which fills the bucket better and leaves a clean, even face on the silage pit. That backward motion also makes for a cleaner cut face every time.
This cuts down on secondary fermentation and wasted feed. It handles material up to 1000 kg per cubic meter. The silage is ready to use right away, whether you’re feeding directly or loading a mixing wagon. A 500 HB wear plate protects against abrasive material. It’s a good fit for dairy and beef operations feeding large groups. This makes it a reliable choice for operations handling large volumes throughout the season.
The Manitou Silage Facing Bucket works with corn silage and short-wisp grass silage, up to 10 centimeters long. It’s not built for long-wisp silage. Manitou offers two sizes: the BSCR 2100/1130 at 1,190 lb, and the larger CRS 2550/2000 at 2,094 lb. Widths run 84 to 100 inches, with heaped capacity from 299 to 528 US gallons. Depth stays the same across both sizes, at 45 inches.
