When the crop is thick — rye, sorghum, sudan, winter wheat, heavy grass — the new MF TDX Series gets it spread in a single pass. Heavy-duty hooked tines with six full windings encourage faster, more uniform drying down, and uninterrupted drivelines with steady single-rotor powertrains keep the machine working day after day. Three models from 25 feet 3 inches to 41 feet 8 inches, in 3-point or 2-point trailed configurations.

Features
One-Pass Tedding in the Heaviest Crop
One Pass, Even Spread
MF TDX Series tedders tackle even the heaviest forages, including rye, sorghum, sudan, winter wheat and heavy grass, in a single pass. Three models deliver high output in the heaviest crop conditions, faster drying in short weather windows, and optimum forage quality.
Unique Hook Tine
Hooked tines lift and separate the crop more easily, delivering 50% more capacity on each rotor revolution, gentle operation, and minimal ground, field or terrain damage and crop contamination.
Long and Short Tines Working Together
The long tines rotate 12% faster than the short ones to enhance spreading. Slower-moving short tines lift the drier crop, which is on top, and throw it a shorter distance. Longer tines lift the wetter, heavier crop off the ground and throw it on top of the lighter, drier crop where it dries faster.
Coils Provide Flexibility
Six full windings per tine mean gentle, even spreading with less wear and lower risk of breakage.
Gentle and Efficient
Low PTO Speed, Low Fuel
Innovative design lets TDX tedders follow ground contours precisely, preventing damage to the ground, field or terrain while eliminating forage contamination. Optimum rotor speed comes at a PTO speed of just 400–450 rpm, which saves fuel and greatly reduces crop losses and damage.
Large Rotor Diameter
A large rotor diameter allows high tine speed at a low rotor speed.
Anti-Wrapping System
An anti-wrapping system prevents crop buildup around the wheel spindle.
Maximum Longevity and ROI
Uninterrupted Drivelines
MF TDX Series tedders feature uninterrupted drivelines and steady, reliable single-rotor powertrains. Each rotor is driven by a large shaft and universal joints for maximum durability and minimum downtime.
Strong Frame, Mounted Rotors
TDX rotors are mounted to a strong frame with a heavy-duty driveline. The grid frame protects the rotors and reinforces the main frame.
Low Cost of Ownership
Maintenance-free double-cross joints, easy access to pivot grease zerks and an oil-filled gearbox keep cost of ownership down and service simple.
Enclosed Rotor Heads
Massey Ferguson rotor heads have an enclosed design that protects all important components from dirt and dust, providing years of trouble-free service.
Set It and Go
Five Spreading Angle Settings
Five spreading angle settings are as easy to set as moving a pin, so you can precisely meet the conditions in front of you.
Headland Spreading
A simple tine adjustment prevents crop from being thrown into a hedge or ditch when spreading on headlands. It throws the crop away from the edge and distributes it evenly over the existing crop mat.
Simple Working Height Adjustment
Working height adjusts quickly and simply, and grease-lubricated, fully sealed transmission cases keep operation quiet.
Headland Lift Position
A headland lift position lets you navigate headland turns and obstacles without the possibility of driveline damage.
Transport and Safety
Compact Transport Mode
For road transport the rotors are placed on the frame in a row. This protects the pivot joints, since there is no stress on them at all when folded in. The special transport position means even the larger MF TDX models are compact enough for transport.
Auto-Off Cutout Clutches
Cutout clutches protect U-joints and automatically disconnect power if the tedder is folded into transport position accidentally while running in the field.
Configurations to Fit How You Run
One Mounted, Two Trailed
Three models: one mounted version and two trailed transport chassis versions, covering tedding widths from 25 feet 3 inches to 41 feet 8 inches.
Outstanding Maneuverability
TDX tedders stay maneuverable despite the large working width.
