The MF TD Series spreads your crop out so it dries even and dries fast, whether you are running a two-rotor machine through small fields or covering 41 feet 8 inches at a pass. Five drawbar-hitch models, true commercial-grade construction with induction-hardened, break-resistant rotor heads, and heavy-duty transmission cases that are fully sealed and grease-lubricated for quiet operation and longer service intervals. Every TD model is simple to set up and simple to adjust for quick, efficient ground coverage.
Heavy-Duty Frame
All MF TD Series tedders use thick-walled, strongly dimensioned square frame tubes for excellent rigidity and a very long service life. Individual rotor frames connect via sturdy frame joints with special flange sleeves and hardened pins, and every joint can be relubricated for extra reliability.
Induction-Hardened Rotor Heads
Induction-hardened, break-resistant rotor heads increase durability. The fully enclosed design protects all important components from dirt and dust for years of trouble-free service.
Sealed Transmission Cases
Heavy-duty, fully sealed transmission cases use grease rather than oil, which means quieter operation and longer service intervals.
Power Train & Performance
Positively Driven
Individual rotors are driven through a generously dimensioned hexagonal shaft and robust universal joints. Power transmission is smooth, reliable and free from backlash, which minimizes downtime and repair expense.
Strength in Numbers
A 1:2 transmission ratio delivers maximum performance at minimum PTO speeds.
Faster Response
Close coupling between the rotor support wheels and the tines gives quick response to ground contours and optimal height adjustment.
Synchronized Rotor Lift
The MF TD 524 TR and MF TD 776 TRC add synchronized lifting of the exterior rotors through a centralized hydraulic lift system and pressure cylinders, so performance stays even and one-sided loads are eliminated, even on slopes.
Super C Tines & the Comb Effect
Equal-Sided Super C Tines
Only equal-sided tines achieve optimum mixing of high-quality forage. This is the comb effect: the different layers of forage get perfectly mixed and turned. Equal-length sides also mean no right-hand and left-hand tines to stock, just one kind, which makes spare parts management easier.
Built to Survive 200,000 Impacts
The Super C quality feature guarantees an extremely long service life. Every tine has to survive a 200,000-impact test cycle without damage. Tine diameter is 0.375 in., coil diameter is 2.75 in., and each tine has six full windings.
Tine Loss Protection
All MF TD tedders come with tine loss protection as a standard feature, which protects machines following behind and your livestock. Tines are secured under the tine arm, so the upper side stays smooth, forage will not hang up, and the tine has greater freedom of movement.
Tine Arms
Tine arms are tough, galvanized flat steel bar, which gives a wide contact surface between tine and rotor disc. That means excellent power transmission even in the harshest conditions, and forces get absorbed well whenever the ground is uneven.
Spread Where You Want It
Three Spreading Angles
Every model adjusts to spreading angles of 15, 18 and 20.5 degrees so you can adapt to all forage and crop conditions.
Edge-Spreading Function
The edge-spreading function prevents valuable forage loss. A central edge spreading device is fitted as standard on the MF TD 776 TRC, so edges of fields no longer present any problem.
Headland Lift Position
Every tedder has a headland lift position so you can navigate headland turns and obstacles quickly without the possibility of driveline damage.
Safety & Transport
Security Lock System (SLS)
SLS is an automatic, hydraulically activated switch-off and positioning system with an integrated freewheel that interrupts power flow to the rotors when the halves of the machine are folded up. That means a high degree of safety in the transport position and during maintenance, and much less chance of power train damage from incorrect operation.
Auto-Off Cutout Clutches
Cutout clutches protect U-joints and automatically disconnect power if the tedder is folded into transport position accidentally while running in the field.
Transport Chassis
On the MF TD 776 TRC, MF TD 1008 TRC and MF TD 1310 TRC, the transport chassis makes for fast, safe road travel and wide coverage out in the field. Rotors fold in and out through a hydraulic sequential control system operated right from the tractor seat. In the working position the chassis folds up in front of the rotors, which keeps the center of gravity where it should be and keeps the chassis out of the ejection path of the forage.
Sized and Configured for Your Operation
Big Fields or Small
Five models cover tedding widths from 8 feet 2 inches to 41 feet 8 inches, so there is a fit for small farms and high-acreage hay operations alike.
Get the Right Configuration
Mounted, trailed and transport chassis versions are available, along with high-performance three-point linkage on the mounted models for extra versatility and flexibility.
Simple Setup
All TD models are simple to set up and adjust for quick, efficient ground coverage.
