Description

The STIHL FS 131 is a professional gas-powered string trimmer built with a bike handle and rubberized grips for smooth horizontal mowing when paired with a harness. Its 36.3cc engine delivers 1.9 bhp through a fully lined, solid steel drive shaft for smoother operation and reduced vibration, while the multi-function control handle keeps every control within reach of one hand. An IntelliCarb compensating carburetor keeps RPM steady as the air filter clogs, and a heavy-duty steel-on-steel clutch, protected spark arrestor muffler, and durable polymer housing are built to hold up under daily professional use. The FS 131 is also available with a loop handle as the FS 131 R.
