Blu-Jet Legacy

Available in 52.5′, 47.5′, 40′, 37.5′, 32.5′, and 30′ working widths on 30″ or 20″ spacing, depending on model. The heavy-duty 6″x6″ mainframe features a constant-level design to maintain even depth and precise application over uneven terrain, with 54″ of toolbar rank for superior residue flow. Wing flex of 15° up and 9° down on the primary wing follows ground contours, while a single-point, manual-adjust depth control with turnbuckle at the tongue allows quick, convenient depth adjustments.

Standard dual 295/75 R22.5 oscillating truck tires ride on the main frame (optional single 385/85 R34 R-1 tractor tires or dual 385/65 R22.5 truck tires available), with single 295/75 R22.5 truck tires on the wing gauge wheels. An included water tank and storage compartment give quick access to clean water and the operator’s manual, while a transport chain, lighting kit, and storage jack support safer transport and parking.

Lead Super 1200 coulters feature 4-bolt hubs and 20″ fluted blades that clear a path for the shank and slice through residue, delivering 1,200 lbs of downforce and 30° of swivel. 1 1/4″ edgebent shanks with SCS (spring cushion shank) twin-spring mounts maintain a reliable, consistent working depth, and standard 3/4″ wide mole knives with a 3/8″ tube apply anhydrous ammonia (other knives optional).

Trailing DiscCover sealers use two notched blades angled to fill and seal the slot, preventing fertilizer loss. Disc sealer arms operate independently for continuous soil contact, with 17″ of overall travel and 9″ of vertical travel from working depth to climb over obstacles; a flat-face, zero-maintenance hub with a 6-bolt design and sealed bearings rounds out the standard setup, and optional down pressure springs are available for tough soils.

37.5′ to 30′ toolbar widths feature 1-section plumbing with John Blue Impellicone and Raven shutoff valves, while 40′ to 52.5′ widths step up to 2-section plumbing with John Blue Impellicones and Raven shutoff valves for precise fertilizer control, ensuring even distribution and reducing loss during shutoff. A Raven ISOBUS rate controller lets the operator run the virtual terminal monitor from the tractor cab, backed by a 50 gallon-per-minute Raven Vortex cooler with a 1.5″ single fast valve.

A tool-free, telescoping rear nurse tank hitch makes hookup easy: the operator telescopes the tongue in so it automatically locks, no backing up required. A single SuperShooter III nurse tank connection with 1.25″ plumbing adds a splash guard and quick disconnect for safe, easy operation.

Undercarriage
Single 385/85 R34 R-1 tractor tires are available on the mainframe in place of the standard truck tires. 385/65 R22.5 truck tires can replace the standard 295/75 R22.5 wheels and tires on both the main frame and the wing gauge wheels.

Injection
MaxPac shank mounts add trip pressure and ensure accurate depth in heavy, rocky soils, with 790 lbs of trip force, 10″ of vertical travel from working depth, and greaseless bearing pivot points that reduce maintenance.

Sealer
The SealPro II disc sealer matches the DiscCover sealer’s features and adds greaseless 1 1/4″ plated pivot shafts with self-lubricating bushings for reduced maintenance; 17″ wavy blades are also available in place of the standard notched blades on either sealer.

Distribution
2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-section John Blue Impellicones (or 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-section Continental A360 manifolds, depending on toolbar width) improve application consistency and cut anhydrous ammonia waste. A high-volume Raven Vortex cooler with PWM pump raises the application rate up to 80 gallons per minute, a single Continental cooler delivers 46 gallons per minute with a 1.5″ single fast valve (dual Continental cooler available), and dual 1.5″ valves – including a low-volume option that reduces output to 30 gallons per minute – offer precise control.

Nurse Tank Connection
A dual nurse tank hitch add-on kit adds two hitches to the standard center single hitch, letting the operator pull two nurse tanks in the field and one during road transport, supported by double SuperShooter III nurse tank connection systems with 1.25″ plumbing for tending multiple tanks.
