Rhino 1540 Blade

Description

The Rhino 1540 blade is a heavy-duty rear blade rated for tractors up to 190 PTO HP in 2WD form. It also comes in 8-foot and 10-foot widths. Each size ships with a CAT 2-3 three-point hitch and a matching quick-hitch for fast mounting. In fact, a 4-inch solid steel kingpin and boxed-section moldboard give the Rhino 1540 blade real strength. That strength holds up well for grading, ditch work, and road maintenance. In addition, operators can choose manual or hydraulic adjustment for mainframe swing, moldboard angle, and moldboard tilt. As a result, the blade offsets up to 37 inches, reaching outside dual wheels on larger tractors.

Bolt-on gauge wheels help control cutting depth, which matters most when a smooth finish is the goal. Because the cutting edge extends slightly past the moldboard, wear stays lower over time. Meanwhile, optional skid shoes, quick-tach end plates, and single or dual gauge wheels are available. These options let owners configure the Rhino 1540 blade for a wider range of jobs. As a result, this blade fits equally well on farms, ranches, and municipal road crews that need dependable grading equipment.

Features

Moldboard & Cutting Edge Design

Precision-Formed Moldboard
Every Rhino rear blade features a precision-formed moldboard with the exact curvature needed to achieve maximum penetration, allowing the blade to cut and roll material rather than dragging it.

Extended Cutting Edge
The replaceable cutting edge extends slightly past the end of the moldboard, reducing the rate of wear on the moldboard itself and extending service life.

1/2 in x 6 in Replaceable Cutting Edge
A durable, field-replaceable cutting edge keeps the blade performing like new season after season.

Frame, Hitch & Durability

Solid Steel Kingpin & Heavy-Duty 3-Point Hitch
A 4-inch solid steel cold-rolled kingpin, heavy-duty three-point hitch, and massive mainframe combine with a reinforced moldboard for superior strength and durability.

Precision Pivot Points
All pivot points are designed and built to exacting tolerances for a tight fit, long wear, and dependable service.

Manual or Hydraulic Adjustment
Choose from multiple manual adjustment settings or infinite hydraulic settings, making the 1540 one of the easiest rear blades to operate.

Depth Control & Optional Equipment

Bolt-On Gauge Wheels
Gauge wheels help control cutting depth for a smooth, consistent finish, especially critical when precision grading matters most.

Optional Skid Shoes
Skid shoes are available to help protect the moldboard and maintain consistent depth on variable terrain.

Optional Gauge Wheels, Skid Shoes & Quick-Tach End Plates
Single or dual gauge wheel configurations, skid shoes, and quick-tach end plates let you customize the 1540 into a more versatile tool for your operation.
